Those who love good food won’t want to miss the Severn Valley Railway’s Food and Craft Fayre at the Engine House, Highley, on August 24 and 25.
“Dozens of suppliers will be offering treats to tempt you,” said Nadia Attwell, the SVR’s assistant commercial manager, “and there will be a range of hand-made goods on offer. Stalls will be nestled among our full-sized locomotives and carriages on display at the Engine House, which is just a few minutes’ walk from Highley station.”
The Engine House will be open from 10.30am-5pm each day, with last entry at 4.30pm. Entry to fayre is free, but there is no onsite parking. The SVR advises that the best way to ensure an enjoyable day out is to take a heritage train to the Engine House. More information at svr.co.uk
