A presentation was made on 12 October to the Bodmin & Wenford Railway of the former signalling Panel from Lostwithiel box, on behalf of Network Rail. It covers the section from Liskeard to Lostwithiel, including Bodmin Parkway station and the single line section across Largin viaduct.
The panel was installed in 1991, but has now become redundant as part of the recent re-signalling of the former GWR main line through Cornwall. It demonstrates effective partnership working between a heritage railway and the national network. A B&WR works train was used to carry building materials from Bodmin General yard to one of the constructions sites on the main line at Bodmin Parkway.
